Having an outdoor wedding reception made it a little easier to decorate because you already got the elements of nature to work for you-flowers, trees, bushes, birds, butterflies, sunshine, and blue sky.
Because you are out of the room, the decor you can much simpler but still amazing (depending on location and background) so choose a location that would fit with the theme that you want, and you don't have to do too many decorations at all! You can let nature take care of it for you.
If you are having an outdoor wedding in the evening, the lighting is key to providing warmth and atmosphere. I really like the idea of hanging lanterns, candles and wax. They really made a big difference in more feel all, so don't be afraid to splurge a little in this area. Also, we see this Idea Jar Mason Awesome. They are economical and beautiful as a hanging lanterns, vases and candle holders.
Not every location and the season will allow for an outdoor wedding reception, but if you live in an area that will allow you to have comfortable outdoor wedding, why not? Outside of marriage makes for beautiful photos. Please check this for inspiration.
